Xmas Traditions

Since there are people from all over the world. Every country has it's own unique traditions. How do you celebrate xmas?

Yeah, family is always important. Xmas makes me realy miss mine. Makes me want to go home.I still keep it with german xmas traditions. It's quite different from the canadian and american, and i kinda like it better.

I hang with my family, well since my parents are devorced i kinda have two christmas one with my father the other with my mother, its really fun.

Its funny every year all the kids [me and my cousens] go into where the presents are and we start snopping trying ot see who got what and if anyone got the realy big gifts, its always really fun, specholy when you have all the family pets over and they are running around

That sounds like fun. But you do the xmas on the 25 in the morning, right? In Germany we have it on the 24 in the evening. I like that better,it's more festive. Everyone is nice dressed, it's dark outside, the only light there is, is the xmas tree, and any other light decorations. And usualy in the evening it's snowing. If you make it on the 25th in the morning, it's already light again, and everyone sits there sleepy eyed and in pyamas. I just find that kinda strange. But then again, every country is different.

Trust me its better in the morning with my family. We start falling asleep if its at night, and in the morning we are all most active i guess you could say we rather go sleading, and have snow ball fights and then later we all sit around and watch movies or pass out on the floor to sleep, whille the adults play card games or what not

That does sound like fun. I never had a american xmas. It's not realy in the middle of the night we celebrate. Well, some people do. But we used to do that about 7-8pm in the evening.
