Shishio nodded everytime Kagome whispered something to her but her eyes were on Sesshoumaru the whole time. 'he doesn't look like he wants to fight.' Shishio thought. Shishio then was suprised and suprisely sad when Sesshoumaru said he was going to leave. She never left her gaze on him before he dissapear inside the forest.

( *grins sheepishly* Hehehe... Tokijin... By the way, how do you spell Sesshomaru's other sword? I always get it mixed up with Tetsaiga... )

Then, Kagome grabbed Shishio's hands, and checked her for wounds up and down. "Are you alright? Did he do anything to you? He can be rather dangerous at times..." Everybody gathered around her worriedly, helping Kagome check her for wounds, except INuyasha who looked away with a scowl and folded his arms, and Miroku, who had been knocked out unconcious, courtesy of Sango, who had been just too enthusiastic in "helping".

( Sorry about that, I forgot that I wanted to add something about Sesshomaru, then I sent it out too early. By the way, Happy New Year 2006! ^_^ Today is the last day of 2005 for me... )

That girl...who is she? The face of Shishio flashed into his memories. Shishio, is it? Her name had a nice ring on her tongue. Teacher... He smirked. Well, Teacher, we'll see what you can teach me. I look foward to how well you can fight next time. He smirked once again, before Rin brightened up and ran towards him.

"Sesshomaru-sama! Today I picked up some pretty flowers...." Rin chattered on happily, as she saw Sesshomaru.

Jaken also shouted, "Sesshomaru-sama," as they walked on.

Soon...We'll meet again. Shishio.

"MUAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sesshomaru laughed. Jaken and Rin stared at him, wide-eyed.

( Ok, I was joking about that "Muahahahaahaahaha!" part. What? I couldn't resist... )

Shishio smiled at Kagome. "I'm okay Kagome but if he was trying to kill me I would of defended myself." Shishio said. She turn her head a little to see Inuyasha with a scowl in his face. "umm..Kagome did I did something wrong to make Inuyasha scowl like that?" Shishio whispered only for the girls to hear.

( Sorry I didn't reply for quite a while...x.x I still have many homework, I'll clear this first. Thanks, I wasn't sure whether you would like Sesshy laughing. But the mental image though... *shudders* )

"Yeah, It's odd... How come Sesshomaru never killed you? That would be a first, no second time, since considering Rin... And Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's half-brother-" Inuyasha growled at that, Kagome whispered in a softer tone so that Inuyasha could not hear them, "And their relationship isn't really good, you saw how they fought each other with swords... Anyway, be careful. You are perfectly fine, but...be careful anyway." Sango watched them chatting happily, then burst in with a comment with her own, worried for Shishio's safety, "If he ever comes again, you can borrow Kirara to help defend yourself."

Shishio smiled at both of them. "don't worry about me you guys really, I can defend myself." Shishio said. "we should go back so all of you can rest." Shishio said sternly like a mother and pushed everyone inside her hut.

"Well, the sun is about to be up in-" Kagome checked her wrist watch, "about 15 more minutes, and I don't think any of us here can sleep after this," everybody had a sort of wide-awake look about them, "so, we might as well go and wash ourselves and go on shard hunting?" Everybody nodded and grumbled along as they went on to wash their faces and so on.

Later...

Everything was going on as usual, as they were walking through the villages in pursuit of the Shikon shard. There were some hushed whispers about the odd asortment, as they all parted.
